Description
Displays the percent of the low-income residents (below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level) in the ZCTA served by any health center (from health centers reporting 11 or more patients residing in that ZCTA). In other words, for each ZCTA the total number of health center patients is divided by the number of low-income residents. Because income is not reported in the UDS at the ZIP Code level, this measure is only an estimate and should be interpreted as such. Note: Pending the release of 2022 American Community Survey data, statistics such as program penetration and unmet need by insurance category are comparing 2022 patients to 2021 population data.
