Description
Displays the estimated number of residents of the ZCTA who are covered by Medicaid or other needs-based public insurance such as CHIP who are not served by any health centers. In the dot density map, one dot equals 100 residents covered by Medicaid or other needs-based insurance such as CHIP from that ZCTA that do not go to any health center. Each dot is randomly placed in the ZCTA. Note: Pending the release of 2022 American Community Survey data, statistics such as program penetration and unmet need by insurance category are comparing 2022 patients to 2021 population data.
