Description
Percentage of patients aged 18-85 who had a diagnosis of hypertension and whose blood pressure was adequately controlled (less than 140/90 mm Hg) during the measurement period. The Controlling Blood Pressure measure was revised in 2016 and is not comparable to prior years. This measure was aligned with a specific clinical measure, CMS165v9, used by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
